Early Childhood

K4

The philosophy of learning in K4 is based on the idea that young children learn through play.  We provide an educational setting where children can develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and social-emotional skills.  These skills are imperative for learning and forming healthy peer relationships.

Large and Small group activities in the areas of language arts, science, social studies, math, and religion. Subject areas are often integrated and include learning through hands-on projects, songs, writing workshops, and class books. Children are exposed to a variety of learning situations that are meant to promote their innate sense of wonder and therefore plant the seeds for life-long learning. Children have outdoor recess, snack breaks, and a rest period to meet each young learners physical needs, so they can be successful throughout the day.
